John Arena

John first started spending summers on Nantucket in the 1980's. After graduating from the University of Vermont, with a degree in Political Science and Economics, John traveled extensively, lived in Colorado and Australia before finally settling in Boston. After working for over twelve years as an investment adviser at Fidelity Investments, John moved back to Nantucket full time. He's lived here for over 22 years working as a real estate broker and part-time developer. His brother, Tommy, owns Arena Construction, a local residential and commercial construction company. Together, they have bought, sold, built, renovated and rented many Nantucket properties over the past twenty years. With his deep passion for Nantucket* and vast real estate experience, not only as a real estate broker, but also as an investor, developer and homeowner, John is uniquely qualified to help you with all of your Nantucket real estate needs. When not doing real estate, John enjoys traveling, fishing, skiing, relaxing on the beach, and high altitude mountain climbing.
