Four bedroom upside down house and loft with a double futon over the living room-dining room. The loft leads to a roof walk with a fabulous view of Hummock Pond, the ocean and the extensive moors (one can actually see the steeple of the Congregational Church in town 2,5 miles away.) There is a Jacuzzi for two and 2.5 bathrooms. The primary queen bedroom is on the second floor. There are three additional bedrooms on the first floor, one with a queen size bed and a fireplace and the others with twin beds. There is a field-stone fireplace in the living room that reaches up to a cathedral-like ceiling. There is a library with some 100 books that relate in some way to Nantucket, A deck runs the full length of the front of the house with unobstructed, stunning views over the moors to the ocean. The morning sun follows a gorgeous sun-rise ( It is worth to see it with a mist over the moors) and floods the deck and provides an ideal place for breakfast. The view of the sky is also spectacular due to the ability to see so much more of it from the flat terrain. Let the sound of the surf at night lull you to sleep! There is also a deck on the back side of the house to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. Beach and life-guard beaches close by. There are two bikes at the house which will get you to the beach in a couple of minutes. Visit nearby Bartlett Farm, that has in addition to its own fresh vegetables, has anything one would require for any type of meal. In addition, 167 Raw fish market has the best fresh fish you would find anywhere. At the end of the beach day nearby Cisco brewery never disappoints.
