Experience

I've lived in the Pioneer Valley for 47 years and worked as attorney for 35 of those years, including as a closing attorney and litigator. Given an opportunity several years ago to pivot to a full-time career in real estate, I jumped at the chance to work in a profession that has excited me for decades. How often do the skills of an experienced, personable, attorney come in the package of a REALTOR? Listening, negotiating, legal real estate experience, and a deep knowledge of the region are all important skills you can use when you are buying a home or selling. Personal

When I am not working with my clients, I love to ski. My younger daughter's recent move to Park City Utah reignited my childhood passion for the sport and I am determined to learn how to "shred" on the edges. Living in Northampton, I have the luxury of being able to walk to town for everything. My favorite trip is to Herrell's ice cream. When mudpie has enough fudge ripples, it can't be beat. My older daughter is a pediatric resident at UChicago and her experience of trying to find housing expedited my interest in helping new residents in Western Massachusetts find homes, especially when they are living hundreds of miles away and have to be settled in 3 months - yikes!! I am here to help!

Whether you are looking to relocate to our beautiful region we call home or if you are looking to move within the valley, I would like to offer you my assistance. Currently, I live in Northampton with my husband Tim, a former high school math teacher and an avid bicyclist, and we have two daughters, Rose and Annie. I grew up in Schenectady, NY (upstate NY) and came to the area to go to school at UMass/Amherst. The area was so wonderful I never left .... moving several times, from Amherst to Shutesbury, Granby, Hadley and West Springfield. My husband Tim and I love to travel and I have a hidden decorating hobby, and have even become an accredited home stager. I recently tried to learn Arabic --السلام عليكم but I am not very good at it! Because I enjoy challenges, I have accumulated years of experience helping others navigate big life decisions, decisions like those involved when you buy and sell real estate.
