"I want to single out Laura Usher who assisted us in the purchase of our lovely home in Orleans. She gave us hours of her time over TWO years as we hunted for our forever home. Her knowledge of the Cape, past and present, and her contacts are extensive. There was never a question she couldn't answer or at least give us references to local experts. She knew about the history of the houses and many of the mechanical details such as heating, cooling, emergency generators and such. As we traipsed through various homes, we got to know each other and become good friends in the process. She was always readily available. We ultimately found the perfect home for us. She served as our counselor as we were considering funding and even fencing! We cannot recommend her with enough compliments to sufficiently describe her work ethic or personal friendliness. She once told me when we were talking that her goal as an agent is not making the sale, but, rather, being the connection between the buyer and the lifestyle they sought. She was with us all the way from our first sit-down at the Raveis office through inspections of two homes, through the financing and she was awaiting us in the office of the closing attorney. She, my wife and I shared a flute of champagne the next day in our dining room overlooking Town Cove."
