Broker associate Rocky Lapomardo brings over 43 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate to his customers at the 5TH Avenue office of William Raveis. Originally from Massachusetts, Rocky has been a Florida resident for over 20 years. He graduated from Boston's Northeastern University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science, and obtained a master's degree in adult education curriculum design from Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Rocky is a retired sergeant with the Massachusetts State Police and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 158th Session. Since the beginning of his career as a real estate professional, Rocky has consistently been a multimillion-dollar producer. He personally owns several income properties and is a former owner of a successful residential commercial brokerage, contributing to knowledge and expertise that has earned Rocky a solid reputation amongst his customers and peers. Rocky is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and Florida, and a limited commercial real estate broker in North Carolina. He is the founder and owner of Southern Real Estate Academy, which has classrooms stretching from Hawaii to Massachusetts. Rocky has taught and conducted instructor development and professional certifications nationwide. This combination of education, experience and extensive knowledge of the industry enables Rocky to offer his customers a competitive edge in the real estate market. His goal, first and foremost, is to provide his buyers and sellers with extraordinary service and unequalled professionalism that generates trust and a complete understanding of the current market. In his spare time, Rocky enjoys running and deep-sea fishing. He has an extensive classic car collection, with his favorite being a 1963 Cadillac El Dorado convertible. He speaks conversational Italian and is an active member of his local American Legion, member of the board of directors of the Former Massachusetts State Troopers Association, lifetime member of the FBI National Academy Associates, lifetime member of the Military Police Regimental Association, on the advisory board of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, as well as the 1963 & 1964 Cadillac Club.
